SENIOR CAPSTONE
PROCESS:
The entirety of this class revolved around pursuing a personal question, need, or desire to see change in the design world. For my project, I wanted to blend my major and minor together, creating a process book to document my growth as an artist over the entire quarter. This process required diligence and dedication to my desire to improve my own skills as an artist.
CHALLENGES:
The biggest challenge during this project was fighting back my frustration and strong desire to quit. I have had a bad habit of stopping personal projects due to lack of basic art fundamentals, but this project was meant to combat that vice in order to show myself I could improve.
FINAL PRODUCT:
This project ended up being a 60+ page compilation of drawings I recorded over the entire quarter. In the end I had a lot of fun, and it inspired me to want to continue creating things I love. This project will never truly be finished, but for the sake of this class I found it to be the most successful and fulfilling one I had done at my time in college.
