CHARACTER DESIGN


PROCESS:

This project required illustrators to mindlessly scribble for a few minutes on their canvas. After scribbling, the goal was to create organically drawn characters that went outside the limits of a traditional character drawing.
 

CHALLENGES:

A big challenge for me was getting over my perfectionist tendencies when it came to starting a sketch. Rather than planning out the idea, the concept of the character had to be based before I could even think about it.

FINAL PRODUCT:

This deck moved from random scribbles, to more planned out sketches that opened my mind to how free and loose my initial plans could be.
