PROCESS:
This project tasked designers with creating a zine based around the artist’s special interest. I decided to choose Gacha machines for my zine, and then created an informative zine booklet that would theoretically be a serial publication.
CHALLENGE:
The biggest challenge for this project was the grid layout. Finding images and a font that would fit inside my chosen grid while, also creating interesting layouts would delay my progress. I wanted every page to be fun and engaging, while also being helpful for people interested in the subgenre.
FINAL PRODUCT:
The final product turned into a small zine with an illustrated front cover, back cover, and both inside covers. I had a lot of fun fitting the palette chosen for the cover into the rest of the zine for a cohesive design.
